More Vaping Safety Tips

Continuing our Vape Safety two-parter, here’s the continuation of what you have read from the first article about how to be safe while vaping. Following are 4 more vaping safety tips to keep you safely enjoying your favorite hobby. Read on and enjoy the ecigarette topic.

Charge your batteries properly

Be responsible when it comes to charging your mod’s battery (or any other battery, for that matter; such as smart phones, flashlights etc etc.) It may result into overcharging the batteries that can then ruin the performance of your battery, or even worse than that it can possibly cause a fire. Don’t leave your battery charging unattended for days on end. A lot of battery charging units claim that they go into trickle charge once the battery is fully charged but it’s better to play it safe than be sorry. Better yet, have an alarm when it’s time to pull out the charger. Most battery chargers will specify an approximate time required to fully charge the battery. Another tip, is to not fully drain the Ecigarette battery or mod battery as it can cause a memory effect on the battery. When you see that the E Cigarette charge or mod battery charge is running low, immediately charge the battery as proper care will prolong the battery’s lifespan.

Don’t overuse your mod

Always keep this in mind. When you take care of your mod or any other Ecigarette equipment, it will take care of you. Don’t abuse it or it will lead to overheating. And overheating can cause an accident. Once you feel that your vape is getting too warm, let it rest a bit. And like the previous tip, place it where it can’t be reached by minors/children.

Watch your mod

Is your mod acting weird? Do you notice something weird about your Ecigarette? Stop using it! Maybe there’s an actual defect with the unit. Maybe your mod is turning itself on all by itself, auto firing, or showing a bizarre reading. This generally happens if the mod has been dropped or come in contact with liquid that has actually gone into the internal battery unit/s. Be aware of any change in your mod from its normal operation. That way, you can keep yourself and others around you safe. If you ever notice anything wrong, better have a technician look over it just to be safe and sure.

Always inspect your batteries

Make sure you regularly check your battery in order to be safe when you use it. There are some circumstances that the film/wrap of your battery shows a bit of damage. But don’t be fooled. This covering is important. What is this wrapper for? It may seem just like a decoration for those who don’t know much about mods, but it’s really important because it keeps your battery and you safe. When you notice that there’s some damage or delaminating on the covering, replace the battery immediately. Damaged batteries have the possibility of shorting out or even rupturing.

Keep in mind that when you have something that needs to be changed or repaired, don’t be stubborn and think it will be okay. Just make sure you do the right thing. Accidents can be avoided if you properly take care of your mod and keep a good eye out for anything out of the ordinary when it comes to your Ecigarette. Vaping is a safe hobby. But as with anything that uses batteries and all tech devices such as a vape mod, it’s best that anyone handling the equipment be responsible and inspect the unit regularly.

Vaping Safety Tips Sydney Australia

Vaping is a very safe hobby or habit, especially when you compare it to smoking (which is known to be very dangerous and toxic to your health), but you still need to take proper care of yourself and your mod when vaping. Now when there are a lot of people questioning the safety of vaping and the mods used, since videos of mods sparking went viral in the social media network. To keep yourself always safe, take the time to read these following vaping safety tips.

1. Study how your battery works

Make sure you know how your battery and your mod work. If you don’t take the time to study your battery, it may end in an unwelcome scenario if you mishandle your batteries and your mod units or you modify them. Keep in mind that you’re using lithium ion batteries that can explode once you abuse them or short circuit them. It’s like having a relationship with someone that when you abuse him/her, it can lead to a break up that will hurt both of your feelings. So, take good care of your mod and batteries and it will take good care of you.

2. Don’t pocket your batteries

DON’T, carry your batteries without protection sleeves in your pocket, if you don’t want to burn your pants or even worse than that. We put a lot of things in our pockets, and there’s a possibility that your battery will rupture or discharge once it comes in contact with metal coins, keys or other metal objects. Yes, you don’t want to run out of charge, but it’s better to be safe than sorry. Store and carry your batteries properly, to be safe.

3. Drink lots of water
Make sure that you always keep hydrated by drinking fluids especially when you vape. Lots of health problems can occur when you get dehydrated. We all know that vaping can lead to dehydration as vaping takes away moisture from our body. In fact, no matter what you’re doing – running, studying, just waking up – it’s always a good idea to stay hydrated and keep the fluids up.

4. Keep out of reach of children

Place your mod and other paraphernalia where children can’t reach it. Also, take care to keep your e-juice hidden or out of reach from the little ones, as they may drink the e-juice. This can be dangerous to children, especially if the e-juice contains nicotine. You wouldn’t want to be the reason something bad happens to them. Be a responsible adult and be even more responsible when storing your vape equipment.

5. Don’t let your battery overheat.

Overheating can cause your batteries to burst into flames. That’s why you shouldn’t leave your battery where the temperature is in danger of rising, like inside your car. The inside of your car can reach temperatures as much as three times that of the outside temperature. Imagine leaving your mod batteries in that condition. You just might see your car burn because of your mod’s battery (or any other battery, such as cellphones, laptops etc). Be mindful where you store your batteries, especially during our hot summer.

6. Dont Modify Your Kits.

We have many people that always ask us questions on how to trick up or modify their mods for more vape or a mate told me to do this or can I do that to outdo its standard performance. The answer is no. When you purchase your vape gear from genuine resellers that only sell authentic and globally recognized brands you are buying a quality item that is genuine and has been built correctly to perform correctly with no risk of harm. The mods are built and have been engineered to perform to its duties. Modifying/Cutting/Or adding extra turns to your coils to run them hotter than designed is really running the risk of major default problems as you are almost short circuiting your battery when firing up the mod.

Anything, when you don’t do it properly can lead to unwanted results or even injury. Vaping is a safe hobby, and the millions of vapers can attest to that world wide, but if you don’t take good care of yourself, your equipment and those in your surroundings might just get an unpleasant surprise. So be a responsible vaper and take these tips seriously.
